Ireland Launch Update

It’s official—Scentsy will launch into Ireland October 3.

Launch Timing and Steps

Beginning Monday, October 3 at 12 a.m. local time (October 2 at 4 p.m. PST), any Consultants who are ready to begin sponsoring new recruits in Ireland can go to "Subscriptions" in the Account tab on the Workstation and 1) accept the International Agreement for Region 2 if they haven't done so already, then 2) accept the Scentsy Independent Consultant Agreement for Ireland. This will make it possible for your Irish recruits to enroll through your PWS immediately.

Enrollment Payment Processing

New recruits can enroll using Visa, MasterCard, or Diners Club International. Laser will be added as an additional payment option as soon as possible.

Our European Call Center will now service Ireland in addition to our other open European countries, the U.K. and Germany. If your new recruit experiences any enrollment-related issues, please have them contact Consultant Support Europe. The email addresses and phone numbers are provided below.

In-Market Consultant Support

To reach Scentsy Consultant Support in Ireland, new Consultants can email support.ie@scentsy.com or call 1800 947 165 from 9:00 to 17:00 (GMT), Monday through Friday, or submit a Support Ticket request through your Workstation at any time.

Local Ireland Meeting Scheduled for October 1st.

On Saturday, October 1, Scentsy will host a welcome meeting in Ireland. This meeting will be open to Ireland residents who want to learn more about Scentsy, our products, and becoming Scentsy Consultants. It will be held in Dublin from 6:00-9:00 p.m. local time, with a formal presentation from 7:00-8:00 p.m. local time.

The welcome meeting will provide potential recruits with all the information they'll need to make the decision to join Scentsy. It will give our existing Consultants a chance to have their friends, family, and contacts in Ireland learn about Scentsy's European product offerings and business opportunity in person. At the meeting, Scentsy home office team members will demonstrate Scentsy products, explain how the business opportunity works, and answer questions.

We start with fragrance oils

Each fragrance might be composed of several types of oils. The materials we use in our fragrances exceed current U.S. safety standards, and our fragrance houses adhere strictly to safety consumer and environmental guidelines.

Essential oils, which are natural oils extracted from plants and flowers.
Absolute oils, which are highly aromatic, concentrated, oily mixtures extracted from plants.
Synthetic oils, which are man-made scents that duplicate a particular fragrance.

There are 2,000 to 5,000 different ingredients that perfumers use to create fragrance formulas—each time you open a Scentsy Bar, you’re enjoying the skillful work of some of the world’s top scent creators.

Top Notes

Top notes give a fragrance its initial impact. When you open a Scentsy Bar, the first thing you smell is the fragrance’s top notes. These scents are fresher and lighter than mid or base notes.

What products is Scentsy offering in Europe?
Scentsy is offering 50 fragrances, 19 Full-Size Scentsy Warmers, 6 Mid-Size Scentsy Warmers, and Warmer Stands.
In addition, there are four Combine and Save offerings: Scentsy Bar 3-Pack, Scentsy Bar 6-Pack, Perfect Scentsy (Full-Size) and Perfect Scentsy (Mid-Size).

Why is Scentsy only launching with Scentsy Warmers and Scentsy Bars?
Just as Scentsy launched in the U.S. and grew virally, offering more and different products as we learned and grew, we want to do the same with Scentsy in Europe. Are the warmers or scents different in Europe?

Is there free shipping on party orders in Europe?
Yes! Scentsy is one of the only party plan companies in Europe to provide free shipping on party orders above the minimum. Any party in the UK above £150 will qualify for free shipping. Any party in Germany above €175 will qualify for free shipping.

Are there other shipping charges?
Yes, there are other shipping charges for orders not included in a party order.

What are Host Rewards for Scentsy Parties in Europe?
Just like in the United States, rewards vary depending on the party sales. In the UK, any Scentsy party with sales above £150 qualifies for 10% of the party total in free products and 1 half-price item. Any Scentsy party over £400 earns 15% in free product and at least 3 half-price items. Similarly, any Scentsy party in Germany with sales above €175 qualifies for 10% of the party total in free products and 1 half-price item, and any Scentsy party over €500 earns 15% in free product and at least 3 half-price items.

Make Money with Scentsy

How much do Scentsy Consultants earn? The amount you can earn depends completely on how much time and energy you want to invest. Consultants make 20%–30% commission on their own sales as well as additional bonuses on the sales of other Consultants they sponsor.

Our plans right now are to launch on Monday, 4/18. This is subject to change.

Which countries is Scentsy launching in?
The United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales), and Germany.

Why is Scentsy only launching with Scentsy Warmers and Scentsy Bars?
Just as Scentsy launched in the U.S. and grew virally, offering more and different products as we learned and grew, we want to do the same in Europe. As the authentic wickless candle company, we want to showcase our warmers and wax products before introducing other products to the market.

Are the warmers or scents different in Europe?
To meet European requirements, the light bulbs used in Scentsy Warmers have been replaced with heating elements to melt the wax and LEDs to provide light through the vents. Electric voltage is different in the U.K. and in Germany and Scentsy Warmers for Europe are designed for use in those markets. Scents for the European markets are manufactured in France, but the 50 fragrances included in the catalog are Scentsy fragrances popular in the U.S.

What is the cost of a Starter Kit in Europe?
£85 VAT inclusive in the U.K., €99 VAT inclusive in Germany.

Product to Review: Scentsy from Casie Stevenson(Scentsy Independent Consultant and SuperStar Director.

Product Information: Flameless, smokeless and soot-free—with Scentsy’s wickless candle bars and electric warmers, you can enjoy all the sensory delights of scented candles without the dangers of an open flame. Simply turn it on and enjoy one of 80 unique Scentsy fragrances.

My Opinion: When I first opened my box of Scentsy products, my nose was hit with wonderful smells. To be honest, I didn't even plug in the warmer until I had thoroughly smelled all of the bars I had received. When I finally plugged the warmer in and turned it on, I had such a hard time deciding which bar to use first.

I received a beautiful Red Snowflake Scentsy Warmer. It only requires a 25 watt bulb to heat up the Scentsy Bars. To be honest, I really didn't think it could do it but I was happily proven wrong.

I started with the Pumpkin Roll. I can honestly say when it started warming up, my entire living room smelled so delicious...yes, delicious! The funny thing is I don't like pumpkin smells but this Pumpkin Roll was just amazing.

The next morning I decided to try the Home Sweet Home Scentsy Bar. I turned on the warmer and heated up the Pumpkin Roll Scentsy Bar and poured it back into it's package, so I can reuse it later. All it takes is wiping out the warmer and putting in the Home Sweet Home for another amazing experience with smelling.

I decided to try the Sugar Cookie Room Spray. My oh my, this is another delicious smell. I sprayed it in the boys bathroom and they loved it so much I actually had a hard time keeping them out of there.

My last Scentsy Bar to try was the Christmas Cottage. I don't even know what to say...it smells absolutely wonderful. I love it!

I also received a Sunkist Citrus Scent Circle. When I put it in the car, it immediately started smelling so good. I am in awe of how great Scentsy products works and how fast!

I can tell you Scentsy has become an everyday word with us. It is something that I will always have in my home.

Smell the Scentsy in the Air - Breast Cancer Awarness $50 G.C. Review and Giveaway

The thought of Cancer scares me because it can happen to anyone at any age. It's always on the back of my mind. Breast Cancer scares me the most since it is one of the most popular cancers that has affected many women. Scentsy has joined The National Breast Cancer Foundation to support their breast cancer awareness and education programs. With a purchase of Love, Life, Hope Scentsy Warmer one hundred percent of the net profits from the sale will go directly to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Casie from Scentsy has graciously offered a review of the Love, Life, Hope Scentsy Warmer along with some other wonderful products.

My mom was visiting when the package arrived and she was sampling and smelling everything with me. The Scentsy Bars I received were Snowberry, Eskimo Kiss, and Autum Sunset. I love all of them but my favorite is the Snowberry which smells like Cinnamon to me. Scentsy Bars are specially designed wickless candles, perfectly suited for all Scentsy Warmers. With convenient break-apart sections, you can divide one bar into different warmers or mix and match scents.

I was surprised at how big the Love, Life, Hope Scentsy Warmer Full Size is and how beautifully designed. It comes with a light-bulb to heat the bar waxes so you don't have to worry about a fire from a candle. It heated very quickly and please be sure to keep this away from children's reach because it will get very hot. I did also find that this was a great science experiment for my 3 year old. She learned about solids turning into liquid and vice-versa. After I used the Warmer... the next day I woke up to my house still smelling like the Scentsy Bar. It put a smile on my face and what a great way to get my day started. Kind of like the smell of Coffee in the morning.

I also received the Black Raspberry Vanilla Antibacterial Fragrance Foam, Home Sweet Home Room Spray, and a Perfectly Pomegranate Scent Circle to hang freely in cars, lockers and closets. I hung it in my car so I could try to cover up bad smells that come with having babies and toddlers (ha ha ha)... you know... from spilling their milk and dropping food in the car.

Scentsy’s philosophy of Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity has made us one of the fastest growing companies the direct selling industry has ever seen. •Candle Party – Get those ugly candles out and bring them to the party for an ugly candle contest. Winner of ugly candle goes home with a new one. Put a number on each candle that comes through the door. All guests vote on the ugliest one.

•Christmas In August – Lots of specials for hosts and guests. This is Scentsy’s 10% off month before the new holiday line of warmers is introduced. Sneak Peek anyone? Every guest gets a gift!

•Come on in! The Water’s Fine – Keep that summer feeling going all year long. Guests bring their bathing suits in a brown paper bag for everyone to guess who belongs to the suit. After the party everyone swims!

•Garden or Patio Party – Have your show in your garden or on the patio/deck. Guests wear a garden hat or big floppy hat. Drawing for the best hat, funniest, ugliest.

Have you ever been to Mexico? I had a chance to attend the Scentsy Director's Retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico a week ago and had a blast!!! I can't help but share with you my blessed journey with Scentsy!!! It has been one of amazing opportunity and has helped me and my family in times of need!!! I am so Thankful to have Scentsy in my life and am truly blessed that this opportunity came to me when it did!!! Sometimes I wonder how it happened so fast and sometimes I just soak it all in and Thank my Heavenly Father for what he has given me!!! Enjoy reading my story and know that things happen for a reason and if it is time, it will happen to you as well!!!

I signed up with Scentsy on March 17, 2006. What a journey it has been and I am going to share with you some of the amazing events and trips that I have been able to be a part of since being in Scensty.

I made director in a years time and I am now at the highest level that a Scentsy Consultant can be ~ Superstar Director.

My amazing journey includes the following events:

2006 - Joined Scentsy and started building my business and team.

2007 - I became a Director with Scentsy in May 2007. My Personal Sales for the year were $33,631.88 with personal recruits and I had a group of 147 members with sales of $192,968.33 and a team of 44 members with sales of $120,948.00 I earned a trip for me and my husband to Cancun Mexico where we had our first vacation alone together. It was an unforgettable experience ever!!! I was awarded Annual Mentor Award and was the 2nd Top Seller of the company which I earned the Annual Sales Award.

2008 - I became a Star Director in January and in November advanced to Superstar Director. My Personal Sales were $42,737.43 with 17 personal recruits. I had a group of 639 members with sales of $1,619,083.85 and a team of 60 with sales os $255.480.67. I earned a trip for me and my husband to Banff Canada and I earned Founder's Circle Member and am one of the top 13 out of 50 where I celebrated at the beautiful Colorado Springs BroAdmoor. I was awarded the Annual Sales Award in 2008 as well. I was a presenter at the Annual Convention in Boise, Idaho and helped create and introduce the fundraiser program through Scentsy.

2009 - Is still going, but so far have been blessed and amazed at what My Group and Team have done. My Personal Sales so far are $20,659.90 with 12 personal recruits. My group has reached 1695 with $2,751,922.16 and a team of 111 with sales of $247,361.16. I earned a trip for me and my husband for an Alaskan Cruise which we just took in September. I was a presenter at the Boise World Tour Stop in March. I was a panelist at the 5th Annual Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was featured in the Recruiting DVD and Consultant Training DVD which was introduced this year at convention in August.

I am excited to see what the end of the year brings and also to see the 2010 year change lives.

YES and it is Scentsy!!! I first wanted to share my story with you! I have babysat for the last 15 years so that I was able to stay home with my 3 kids. I received a gift from a dear friend that I babysat for and when I first used it, I LOVED IT!!!!! I thought the whole idea of a candle without a wick, flame and smoke was brilliant!!! I loved the idea that it was going to be doing the exact same thing that a normal candle would be doing but without the fire!!! That's right this warmer was electric and the wax was heated by a 25 watt light bulb. After using it for a good 2 months, I decided to contact the company and after talking with the President I knew I was going to be buying I decided to sign up as an Independent Consultant. I joined 3 years ago and have never regretted it!!! I love that the products are simple to use and safe for me and my family! A: At Scentsy, it’s all about relationships, not hard sell tactics. If you enjoy socializing and sharing Scentsy products with friends and family, you have all the qualifications you need to succeed.

In fact, the complete lack of sales pressure and the simplicity of our products are the main reasons so many Scentsy customers decide to become Consultants. They find themselves enjoying a party experience instead of having to sit through a typical sales presentation and suddenly realize, “Hey--I can do this!” Even brand new Consultants feel comfortable and confident right from the start.

Q: What are the advantages of direct selling?

A: The freedom of being your own boss, the flexibility to set your own schedule and work as many (or as few) hours as you choose, and the limitless potential for success are just a few of the reasons people take up direct selling. And anyone can do it! You don’t need a degree or a background in sales or a big chunk of start-up capital. Direct selling is an easy, enjoyable way to earn extra income.

Q: How much can I expect to earn?

A: The amount you can earn depends completely on how much time and energy you want to invest. Consultants make 20% – 30% commission on their own sales as well as additional bonuses on the sales of other Consultants they sponsor. Some of our Consultants opt to sell just enough to get their Scentsy products at a discount, while our Superstar Directors can make six figure incomes per year.

Q: What kind of support and training does Scentsy provide?

A: At Scentsy, Consultants are truly sponsored and mentored, not just recruited. Q: Are there any scripts to memorize or a dress code for parties?

Q: Will I be obligated to meet any sales quotas?

Q: What if this just doesn’t work for me?

A: At Scentsy we realize that, even with the best of intentions on both sides, not all partnerships are meant to be. As a Consultant or a Hostess you’re free to leave Scentsy at any time. There is no cancellation penalty.
